Story Hook

As battle-hardened soldiers stationed in a remote garrison, you’ve grown accustomed to the isolation of your post. But when the Dominion of Zur launches an unexpected invasion and seizes the town of Vessenia, you receive a critical mission: infiltrate the occupied town and extract a high-value target — someone whose fate could tip the balance of power.

Time is against you. The Dominion tightens its grip, and every wasted moment strengthens its hold. Stealth, strategy, and swift action will decide not only the success of your mission but the future of your land itself.

About this adventure

I created this one-shot to introduce a few friends to D&D. It was such a blast that I want to share it with more players! This adventure is designed for groups with mixed levels of experience, so that both newcomers and seasoned adventurers find it engaging. I tried to keep it as open-ended as possible, offering plenty of opportunities for creativity and player choice. It features a balanced mix of combat and roleplay, with a few intriguing social interactions along the way. The entire session is designed to be completed within six hours, adding an extra layer of urgency and excitement.
